ST AUSTELL BREWERY / KOREV LAGER

 

Korev is a traditional Cornish word meaning beer. This much loved Cornish lager has a cult following within the surfing community in Cornwall. We wanted to encapsulate the energy and spirit of these folk. Using the most immediate Cornish icon, the Saint Piran’s flag – and conveying the soulfulness through the use of an energetic brushstroke. To achieve the black and white flag on the bottle involved printing a white high build onto a dark bottle which worked effectively as if the flag had been hand painted onto the bottle.
